Wow the very first paragraph had me wrapped up in this article. That was a great way to start writing a piece. It just kept having me going, "come on what happens next". It is amazing to believe that 4 people could create something so large and useful. All because that one place wouldn't serve a black person a cup of coffee.
I like how the story transitioned from the story to how social media has helped to further causes. One of the first examples was how, because of Twitter the people of Iran stood up for their freedom and for Democracy. That is just baffling to me.
100 years ago there was no way we would ever be friends with Japan. Today, Americans fly there for vacation, business and just everything in between. With the help of social media it allows us to stay connected everywhere, plan trips, keep connected with friends and almost anything else. I think social media is very good in helping the world become connected as one.
